Human Relations Commissions

County and city human relations commissions working to promote positve inter-group relations and decrease community conflict and tension. These organizations (dependent upon availability of staff) also investigate and report
incidents of hate violence and hate crimes as well as other inter-group conlflicts.

low-cost meditation and conflict resolution services to local groups and organizations. A number of these organizations go further to provide introductions to alternative conflict resolution methods and intensive training in

Community and law enforcement hate crime prevention networks
in California working to prevent and respond to hate crimes in their regions. A number of these networks collect hate crime data and all provide some form of victim assistance, response and prevention training and
educcation.
