CAHRO is seeking nominations for our Annual Civil Rights Award
To be honored at CAHRO's Civil Rights Awards Dinner
Friday, November 5th, 1999 at 7:30 - 9:30pm

Do you know somone who should be recognized for their civil rights leadership abilities?

Do you know someone who has committed their lives to promoting positive human relations?

Here is your opportunity to nominate them for the CAHRO Civil Rights Award!

Awards Selection Criteria
Awards will be presented to community volunteers who demonstrate civil rights leadership because they:

  • Enhance the quality of life of those served by the nominee's human relations/civil rights organizations
  • Provide direction and creative initiative in meeting the needs of their community
  • Demonstrate effectiveness in meeting the goals of their organization

Nominations Process:

Any California human relations/civil rights organization may submit one nominee.
In a letter, describe the nominee's accomplishment, as well as their leadership and creativity exhibited in planning or implementing programs or activities.
Mail, fax or email nominations on your official letterhead (if available).  Please include the name, organizational name and full contact information for BOTH the nominee and the nominator.
